Hello All and Thank You for the Grand Welcome. Name is Ben (Bonedigger/Danegeld on CU) Blake and we live in Western South Dakota, USA - Badlands country and on a very rural small farm with livestock every now-and-then. :) I've been collecting coins for about 40 years or so since I was 7 or 8 yrs. old. The extent of my collection is just about everything from Ancients, World (Yes, Australia as well - even a couple from the Hutt River Province) to 18th & 19th century and later US along with 19th century and later Canadian coinage. Here is a link to some of the coins in my collection.
Just click on the various links for pictures of some of my collection. http://www.coincommunity.org/gallery/index.php?cat=10110
Married a good ol' Danish gal - Jen and we have two daughters and are simply living life 100% daily, as usually done. With some ludifisk thrown in for good measure at Christmas, LOL...
Take Care and "again, thanks for the Grand Welcome."
Ben
Welcome, Bonedigger.
I've been thinking about getting some of those Hutt River coins (and banknotes), they are only a few hours drive north of me.
I went there once and bought stamps, never even thought to get coins as well. DOH.

Nope. Don't think I've ever heard that before.
Yep, we were both in the service (1985) and she was stationed at Woomera (sp?) Air Station. I was on a plane returning to Ramstein AB in Germany. It (the C-130) experienced some mechanical problems after Leaving Clark AFB, PI and made a landing near Perth. We were free to rome for a few days and Jen happened to be on leave/vacation at the same time.
The rest is history after meeting her at a local pub ;D...
Aussie pubs are so good for that sort of thing :D
Drinking, that is...
Hello and Welcome
A big welcome from 'down under' mate.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
regards,

Sadly, I cannot recall, but it was part of the Hotel I believe. Maybe the Dirty Dutton... ??? ??? ???

Ain't never heard of that one.
Doesn't matter anyway.
Here's a pic of Perth, so you can see what it is like now.

Must have been taken on a Sunday (no cars in the carpark).
Steve,
Perth is a beautiful city!
:D :D :D :D
Thank you, Guys.
I think we are very lucky here. We are the most remote capital city in the world.
We have a very low population and a fairly clean city.
Please don't tell too many people, because we want to keep it that way. LOL
Welcome Bonedigger.
