Hello. My name is John (a.k.a. nighthawk). I reside in SE Michigan, and have been a coin collector since about age 10. I'm married to Cheryl and we have 4 children and 1 granddaughter. I am employed as a warehouseman. I am new to this forum. I have never belonged to an online discussion group before, and this group looks NEAT!!! I collect some U.S. coins, lots of foreign coins and banknotes,(my favorites), and am an avid reader of history (ancient, medieval, U.S., etc...). I also love old books and Bibles, and also collect stamps (mostly Third Reich and birds). I am always looking for new stuff to buy, and I have stuff to sell/trade. Thanks for letting me into the CASTLE! I look forward to some good times and making new friends here!!! Regards, John.
Welcome across the Drawbridge John. Do you have any Australian coins? If not let us know & that situation will soon be remedied.

I have only a couple of coins and banknotes of Australia. Not very much. Thanks.
Welcome to the castle John.
They are all a great bunch here and can help you with any query, just ask.
One of the things I collect is Nazi coins so if you need any of these to go with your stamps let me know.
Anyway have a good time here and look forward to reading your posts.
Thank you all for the kind greetings. I feel like one of the family already. I think I will enjoy it here!!!

I bought these whence I collected this stuff, but they are far too out of my collecting realm now and I would like to find someone that values them more than I do surely. PM if you are interested.
Welcome to the Castle, John! I'm so glad you find yourself at home here, because we certainly feel as if we are a family. I myself have only been here a couple of months, and I feel as if I've been a part of this group for ages!
You won't find a better bunch of people to talk coins with anywhere.
We really look forward to hearing about your acquisitions, and hopefully seeing your collection. Some of the most interesting discussions happen when people post pictures! You find out many things about the coins that you've had for years and never knew!
Looking forward to getting to know you better. :D
Kitty
G'day and welcome from 'down under'.
Roll out your swag and put the billy on.
regards,

Hi Kitty! Viewed your collection... very nice, especially the banknotes. I have over 2,000+ banknotes in my collection, and I'd like to show some, but I'm not quite sure of how to go about it. I'm not that good with computers but if one of you good folks could give me some instruction, well, who knows what could happen? Thanks!!! Nighthawk
Well, you're in luck! TKO just added a picture gallery here just for the Knights. :D
I haven't quite gotten used to the interface yet, but it isn't too hard to upload pictures of your collection into it. Coins or notes, it doesn't matter at all. The first step is getting to the Gallery at http://www.kotct.com/kotctgallery/ From there, TKO will have to create a gallery for you in the appropriate file. US, Australia, or Europe. You might message him to let him know you're interested. From there, its a matter of finding the Add a File link, and forging ahead from there!
I'm glad you 've seen some of my collection. ^^ I'm always happy to show it off, and hope to get another bit of it put up for perusal this weekend.

Kitty, I tried to log in at the gallery and it kept saying "incorrect information". Any ideas? John
John, you need to be set up to be able to upload pictutres into the gallery.
Send a PM to TKO-100 and he will do his thing.
