Just sharing some of my old reis coins from Portugal.

I only have one really nice one and its pretty old. From the time of King Jose 1 (1707 - 1750)
Heavily darkened and some corrosion, this coin is almost 300 years old and is a big one, in 1743 10 Reis was about a penny in value. I am not sure if this was Portugal proper or a colony like Brasil or Angola/Mocambique - but the lack of symbols or the word Ultramarino or Macuta, makes me think this is mainland Portugal.
