It lasted until 2022, when our beloved Queen died.

Coin on the right is a Britannia £2 coin next to a 2022 Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee, issued when she was still alive

Here are some more

1. Polish 2 Zlolte, nice bimetallic coin, the 5 Zlote is larger and have reversed rings.
2. Mauritius 20 Rupee, this bimetallic coin shows the head quarters and quite scarce next to the 10 Rupee 7 sided coin.
3. Moroccan 10 Dirhams, this coin is 1 of 2 bimetallics, the 5 Dirham is also bimetallic and has the rings reversed.

I agree, really trying to beef my posts up from 10 to 17.

I got woken up when I realised I had hit post 4,000 on Numista forums and I am at 10 here and 262 on Australian coin forum.

Mine actually came as a piece of change from a coin dealer at the Brisbane show, not perfect but good enough. The dealer told me she was giving them from a roll and nice, my totals ended in a 5 but she took a dollar off so I could get this coin!

Nice coin, very sharp detail

Here's mine, a bit of light wear but honest enough. Its a San Fran one, I grade it AU and it was 55 to 58 on the PCGS scale.

Morgans are my favourite of US coins, so much design, iconic and the true wild west silver doolar saloon coin. A coin with istory and mystique, plus its a big slab of silver!

Some of my other seated Liberty include this worn but beautiful quarter from 1854 and 2 or 3 decent half dimes. The quarter is a decent VG coin and shows enough detail, sadly likely cleaned but my oldest quarter.

The half dimes are very cute 1853 is almost Fine but badly cleaned and stained, 1856 is VG and again likely the quarter historically cleaned but tone is coming back.

I have nothing as nice as any of that stuff, but what I do have is honest and one coin is quite rare, a very worn but scarce Seated Liberty dollar I paid the bargain price of just $150 NZ for.

This worn beauty is a 1860 O (New Orleans) seated Liberty dollar in Fair to About Good condition, you can see liberty, the date and outline of the eagle, mintmark and enough to see its a dollar. This was the commonest date, but was just 715k coins and they were a casualty of the Civil War and the last time New Orleans would mint silver until the 1890s.

I agree, I bought the 2023 and 2024 coins not long after they came out and before the US mint got super greedy under Trump apprachniks were appointed to it.

None of my coins are graded, but they are all in their original cases and capsules.

I bought proof and mint of both types and I admit I love the proof Morgans the most, artifical or not they gleam and having them in bullion grade silver is no fault either. You can drown in their lustre and now seem like a steal at NZ$170 per coin.

The roaring 20s gave us some more walkers too and many dates are scarce, my ones are more common though, still a nice pre 1934 Walker is a treat to behold. In 1934 the Americans pushed the mint button harder after the depression and 1934 to 1945 is like a super common era for American silver.

My 1928S is a high VF with an attractive tone and the 1920 is not bad either! In fact its better than EF and surprisingly common, still this is a 106 year old coin.

I am trying to beef up posts in the castle!

Next coins include 1917 and 1918. My 1917 P coin is a very nice example well into the VF territory, despite its age, its a fairly common coin.

My 1917S as you can see is a lot less nice! Its got an almost full rim, so would be VG.

I have shown these as 99% of the walkers you see are always 1941 to 1944 as they were from GIs who came into the Down Under regions and quantities minted were high 8 figures compared to a few million for most pre 1934 coins. Most of the coins found in Australia and New Zealand are likely to be San Frans, whereas in Trumpland, Phillys (No mintmark) and Denvers dominate.
