Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Go figure, I live near Snowmass (for those not familiar, that's part of the Aspen ski area) and oddly enough, I ski (although not as much as I woul like because of that annoying hobby called work  :-\ ).

CoinCrusader42, are you in the same suberb of the kingdom as I?

I need to scan my Australian pieces and get my photos posted!

My interests lie with the unique, unusual, dies, hubs, trial pieces, patterns, and modern fantasy coins of nations/islands with a story.

I'll get my tagline setup here in a moment....   ;D

SkiSnowMass,

I live in Delta, Delta County.

Not too long of a drive to Aspen, but seldom have the time to head up that way.

I mentioned my great grandfather.  He had what family records suggest was the biggest black angus ranch in Colorado -- located at Snowmass.

The reason that I'm not a multiti-millionaire is that there was a divorce, and my branch of the family moved to Glenwood Springs, and later to Grand Junction.

I have no regrets because had I been left an enheritance I obviously (likely) wouldn't have become a teacher, wouldn't have met my wife, and wouldn't have had the super kids and grandkids my wife and I have.

So, no regrets.

But, interesting to think about from time to time.
