Knight Percy, a little about yourself, if we may.
Where do you live, what do you collect, are you fond of mead?
Do not be bashful, we are an open group of collecting idiots here.
However and whatever, welcome! (fom down under)
regards,    muckeye.

Be welcome!  Pull up a chair, grab a mug, and have a cold one on us. :)  Settle back, read up on some topics, and post a few threads of your own!

We love to see everyone's favourite coins, so if you've got pictures, please share them!
Do add this coin to my collection?

Well, thankyou to all for the very kind welcome. And a special thanks to Nevol for sponsoring me. Some of you may know me as Proko from that other forum, where they don't drink mead! I live in Australia and I'm currently building up a stockpile of Aussie decimals through, what I now know is called, 'noodling'.
I started collecting in my early teens about 35 years ago. The first coins I noodled were round 50c coins and 1968 2c coins in the early 70's. (Incidently, back then I found that 1969 2c coins were almost as scarce as the 68). But anyway thats how my interest in coins started. I managed to acquire a nice little lot of South African Boer War coins from my grandfather and over the years I manged to build up a reasonable Aussie pre-decimal collection. Unfortunately, I had my entire collection stolen when I was about 18. So my collecting came to an abrupt halt!
30 years later, I've taken up the hobby again. About 6 months ago I happened to come across an interesting article that sparked my interest in Aussie coins which got me noodling again. I prefer to noodle the bigger coins, 20c and 50c, (cause my sight aint what it used to be) and I especially like the 2000 Incused millenium 50c. So, because of my recent experience being so short, I guess you could all call me a newbie. I look forward to reading all your posts.......and yes, of course I drink mead.

Oh, and I almost forgot....I'm into prime numbers! So....any chance of being knight number 131, 137, 139, 149, 151, or 157?

No sooner requested than done.

Welcome Knight No. 137!!
