HI and thanks for the welcome...Im not sure if I can be categorized as a collector,as,I tend to buy whatever strikes my fancy at any given time...I enjoy U.S. and darkside coins.I also occasionally pick up a few medals and tokens that I like because the picture's "pretty"   ;D

Thanks for all the welcomes....
I am from the great (or it would be great if it werent for governor Rendell)Commonwealth state of Pennsylvania!!
I am a very eclectic collector,I collect a little bit of anything that strikes my fancy, mostly darkside coins because of the great variety available.
Lately Ive been moving more towards medals and tokens!

Ill try and get some pics up soon of my favorites!

Thanks you Lords and Ladies, for letting this lowly, unworthy knave, camp within your midst!

I was originally from York, PA.  After I graduated (from Penn State) I left the state, did some grad school, then life took me out of the country.  I finally grew some roots up here in the Toronto area.  I get back to York every so often, but I haven't been to the Pittsburgh area since my days at PSU.

They moved the factory to Reading some years ago.  It is the home to York Barbells, the Weightlifting Hall of Fame, Amateur Softball Hall of Fame, and has a Harley Davidson Factory.  (Which is where I learned to ride a motorcycle.)

It was one of the cleanest cities I've ever visited, and had some great pizza!  Sadly, though, even the water tastes like steel.  Iron City, the beer that tastes like a can!  LOL

Ya,A garbage Can!!...It is one of the nastiest tasting beers Ive ever had!!!!

I could never figure out why it is so popular.... ???

When I was at Penn State, it was the price.  We used to get $2 pitchers of Iron City on some nights, and Yuengling Lager on others. Those were the days.......
