Hello everybody!
Thanks for having me here, my name is Jose and i am posting from Portugal, i heard about this forum from Scotishmoney and some people may know me from Coinpeople.com. My main interests are: Portugal,  colonies and XXth century world circulation coins, mainly from Africa (everything by type).
Glad to be here and if there is any questions about portuguese coins (and colonial issues) just go ahead. i'll be glad to help you guys out.

Hello Jose! It is very good to have a representitive from Portugal among us. I collect a few silver Euro commemoratives from your country when I can get them as the Euro is what got me into international collecting. Hope you post often so pull up a seat and join us at the coin table!

My favourite coin is the Portuguese 50 Centavos.

The closest my wife and I came to Portugal was when our cruise ship stopped at The Azores a couple of years back.  While there I did manage to pick up a few Portuguese Euros.

G'day and a big welcome from 'down under' Jose.
I made it to Spain once but  not quite to Portugal, pity though, nice people.
Watch out for Aulde Fartte, he owns too many dictionaries. ;)
Old Dan's the one to get sweet with, he's got an 'in' with the ladies (knightesses). :o
