Just curious about one of the KOTCT's great projects.

Where is the Pet Set now?

Back with Terry, it's originator, or "out there" somewhere?

Also, is the mileage figured, and up-to-date?

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Last I heard, Ellekitty had it and was sending it on to someone, but I can't remember who?

She sent it to me. I showed it around where I live for a while and then I sent it on, to TKO I think?
As for the mileage figures, I think they probably need updating. And I was starting to wonder myself if TKO still had it or not.

Thje Pet Set is still with TKO. I was at his home earlier today and forgot to pick it up. We NEED new names on the sign up list before I start it around again. Will look into that right away as I am deleting everyone and starting a new list. Thanks for bringing it up!

This is a great tradition.

I hope all the members are aware of the Pet Set, and how to obtain it, and then pass it along.

At any rate, good to know it's safe.

:) :) :) :)

The Pet Set Excaliber is sitting right above my computer where I can see it everyday. A couple of months ago I stumbled onto Catman's (Steve Kaden) brothers email address so I got in contact with him concerning the set. I told him of Steve's silver medallion that had traveled the world and hopefully it, along with Steve's name, would continue to do so. He was very appreciative in his reply and I could tell it still bothered him to talk of his only brother who had left this world so abruptly.
Many of you did not have the opportunity to know Steve Kaden. He was a major player in many forums that I frequented and very instrumental in getting the KOTCT collectors together as one unit. He really loved his coins and his cat(s). I do believe he actually sent one to Old Dan as he found it in his mailbox. I never did find out if Old Dan had to pay "Postage Due" on that darn cat? None the less the the two of them became good buddies from that point on. Strange how the world works!
The Pet Set is here just waiting to go back to active duty but that will require members requesting to hold the set for a couple of weeks before shipping it on. I await the call.

I am more than ready to launch the Pet Set Excaliber on another journey around the world but NEED to know the names of the members who desire to see and hold the set for a few days. Also we need the mileage updated from the last journey? Sign up or let me know by email.

If I remember correctly it was updated when if got to ElleKitty in Texas. Then it travelled from there to me in Missouri and from here to Indiana.

It needs another trip to OZ and the sunshine state.

You can add me to the visiting list!

You can add me back on the list as I am in a little better health now and will be able to show it around.

Last I heard, it had safely made it from here in Missouri to Indiana (TKO perhaps?) That has been a long time though.

The Pet Set Excaliber is packed in one of my many boxes waiting for the light of day once again. When I find it I will launch it on another 30,000 miles with all of your help. I would like for some of the new members to have the opportunity to show the set to their communities as well.
